- Eligible products were up to 50% off throughout. Jun 23, 29 and 30 covered all categories; Jun 24–28 featured a different theme each day (fashion, beauty, sports, food, lifestyle), with coupons of up to 20% off, instant 30% discounts on featured products and LIVE perks. Weekly GMV hit an all-time high of ¥3.46 billion in the sale week (week of Jun 22). The next week (week of Jun 29) fell to ¥2.70 billion (−21.9%), and two weeks later (week of Jul 6) to ¥1.79 billion (−34.0%) — almost half the peak week. Big sales move together with the trough that follows.
How the numbers moved after this change
URITE analysisWhat we can read. The gap between ¥3.46 billion in the sale week and ¥1.79 billion two weeks later is the biggest swing in this chart. Official data says joining a sale lifts average daily GMV by +119%, but tracking weekly shows that the effect comes paired with the trough after the sale ends.
